This view looks northeast from the corner of Curry and Spear streets. The prominently large building in the center of the photo is the Gray Reid Wright Building; this rare view looks at the backside of it. To the left you can also see the backside of the Arlington Hotel. Together these two brick buildings formed an "L" on this block. Both were demolished in the 1960s.

To the right you can see a sliver of the Nugget casino across Carson Street.
